Up for grabs today we have this Ball Engineer II Arabic numeral dial. These were about $2k when new and have a pretty wide grey market range, with the top being around $1.5k for nice full set examples on C24 and used pieces popping up under a grand here every once in a while. [PICTURES/TIMESTAMP](https://imgur.com/a/Md1ObzR) **Condition**: I received this watch in well loved shape. I picked it up to try my first Ball and wanted to see what all the tritium hype was about. This watch received a significant amount of TLC on my end in the form of: 1. Ultrasonic clean of bracelet 2. Case and bracelet refinish and polish 3. Movement regulation to +2spd 4. Gaskets lubricated with silicone grease to extend their life and improve WR **Of note**: this watch has a stamped warranty card dated March 2013. Tritium has a half-life of 12 years. This means the gas in the tubes has begun to fade. They are still brighter than the standard lume on my other watches when sitting in total darkness, but in other conditions the glow is quite faint. Freshly charged superluminova will outshine it, briefly, but that’s the beauty of tritium with its constant glow. When waking up in the middle of the night, this one is more visible than even my Tudor Black Bay, which has fantastic lume. I have reached out to Ball and received a quote to relume the watch via their Service Center. It would cost $15 per tube to get this done. If this watch fit my wrist better I would absolutely do this, as it will bring fresh life to this great watch. However, having only 6.25” wrists it pushes the limits of the dimensions I enjoy, so I’m glad to have tried it and given it a nice spa. Now it’s ready to be passed on to one of you in a much better state than I received it. Another important factor of note is that I only have one extra link, meaning it can currently fit wrists up to about 6.5”. Previous owner inquired and found out that links can be ordered directly from Ball at $15 each. If that won’t fit you out of the box I’m happy to add a 20mm leather strap so you can wear it right away. PM and we can discuss this, I have a range of options. **Specs**: * Reference #: NM1020C-S4-WH * Size: Men's (40 mm) * Case: Stainless Steel * Band: Stainless Steel Bracelet * Buckle: butterfly clasp * Dial: white dial * Features: screw-down crown, 27 micro-gas tubes, anti-magnetic up to 4,800A/m * Crystal: sapphire * Water Resistance: 100 meters * Movement: automatic * Functions: date * Calibre: ETA 2824-2 * Width: 40 mm * Height: 47 mm * Thickness: 13 mm * Lug Width: 20 mm Includes watch, extra link and warranty card. **Price**: $800 OBO Shipped to CONUSvia USPS from San Juan, PR No trades at the moment PayPal F&F preferred Please reach out with any questions and thanks for looking.
