The Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch 31130423001005 is a popular and iconic watch that is highly regarded for its history and reliability. This pre-owned Omega Speedmaster Moon watch is in good condition, shows signs of wear with some light scratches on bracelet, is powered by the Omega Calibre 1861 manual-winding movement, which is a highly respected and accurate movement that has been used in the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch for many years, its case is made of stainless steel and measures 42mm in diameter, tachymeter scale bezel, hesalite crystal, which is a type of plastic that was used on the original Moonwatch and is known for its durability and scratch-resistance, black with white hour markers and hands, chronograph sub-dials 30 minutes at 3 o'clock and 12 hour counter at 6 o'clock, 60 seconds counter at 9 o'clock, water resistant to 50meters which means it can withstand splashes and brief immersion in water, but it is not suitable for swimming or diving, stainless steel bracelet with a folding buckle. This watch has original box, manual of instructions, 2 black nato straps, tool and pictograma card. This watch was originally bought in 2017.

Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
