For sale is my Universal Genève Polerouter Date Ref. 204504-3 (c.1959-60). This is the iconic early Gérald Genta design with the “twisted” lugs. It has the 215-1 automatic microtor movement that’s been running great since it was serviced in January 2021. Its 35.5mm gold capped case wears very thin and light compared to those with the older bumper movement. I love the watch but I've gotten a few other pieces over the holiday, and this one isn’t getting much love. The crown has been replaced with, for whatever reason, the Omega crown you can see in the pictures, and the acrylic crystal is like new. Other than that, everything seems to be original. Caseback logo engraving has been worn/polished off. The dial has plenty of wear/patina and the case has general scratches and dings relative to its age but in my opinion nothing that jumps out at you from the wrist.
