Hello WUS!
This one might not need an introduction... if you're a NTH Sub Fan, and especially if you like watches with a bit of color / character, then you probably know about this model. The Zwaardvis is the only "loud" NTH sub out there, and very few were made.
Doc Vail said there were only 20 ever made. 10 with date, and 10 without, and this might be the only one on BOR. This is about as exclusive as you can get!
I hunted for one for 2 years, until this popped up for sale here, and it's amazing, but I'm just not an orange watch person... turns out I'm a yellow watch person, so I'm begrudgingly putting it up for sale.
....and if my experience is any indication, there probably won't be another one up for sale any time this year, maybe next year too.
The watch head is in great shape - no significant marks I can see anywhere. Crystal is clear. Insert is clear. Bezel action is superb, and alignment is good. I checked the movement on my timegrapher, and it was running at around 5s-7s/day, much better than spec for a 9015. Amplitude was in the 265-285 range. There's some normal desk diving marks ont he clasp, but otherwise the bracelet shows very little wear.
Came to me on the V1 oyster bracelet, and that bracelet was in okay, but not stellar condition. It now is sitting on the newer Beads of rice bracelet, which fits the vintage doxa / tudor vibe really well IMO. Also included (if you want to go even more DOXA-ish) is the stainless insert from the Polar Barracuda, which costs $50 from the NTH site.
Watch comes with the leather box, cardboard sleeve, warranty card, all bracelet links. extra insert (uninstalled), plus a 2 adhesive rings to use with bezel swapping
