I am selling this Breguet Classique Ref. BA 3200 ultra-thin automatic from 1983 that I just serviced. Watch number 4180. According to Emmanuel Breguet (a 7th generation descendant of Breguet) himself, this watch was produced in 1983 and sold on Nov 4, 1983 in Germany. I will include the authentication email from Breguet to the buyer of the watch. This men's wristwatch has a 18K yellow gold case with fluted band, hand-engraved dial, black Breguet hands, self-winding movement Cal. 71 Nr. 218, and a gold buckle. The movement, a predecessor to the modern 502.3 movement, has an offset winding rotor that allows the movement to stay thin, and is hand engraved as well. 31.5mm case. This is a chique gentleman's dress watch (now would be considered unisex) has a pointed sapphire cabochon on the crown, a feature that was abandoned by Breguet in the 90s or early 2000s. For my watch projects I have custom straps made from Horween Shell Cordovan leather that is incredibly soft.
