Up for sale is a well used Seiko SBBN007 Tuna that I recently bought from a seller on Yahoo Japan (using Buyee). It was bought to be used as part of a modding project. However I have been informed by a good friend very knowledgeable in Seiko Tunas that what I want to do mod wise cannot be done.

As I bought this to be part of a mod project and because I own a good condition SBBN007 already and I don't need this one because I don't want/need two of the same Tuna models, I am putting this up for sale.

This SBBN007 Tuna is from 2007 and is well used. It has scratches, scuffs and scrapes on the case back, bezel, shroud. It also has scratches on the crystal. The bezel is missing most of the black paint on the numbers and dots. The bezel turns but can be a bit harder to turn some times

It is clear that somebody wore this watch for years and did not worry about wear and tear. They treated it like a tool watch.

That said the watch still has a lot of life left and still looks good.

Watch is on a well used OEM Seiko vented strap

The watch is running well but I have no idea when the battery was last replaced. I don't have any history on the watch

Watch will come in a generic white Seiko box with the original warranty booklet

This would make a good watch to use as a beater watch or perhaps mod it to add a sapphire crystal and a black SKX007 bezel insert to give it a different look. Or perhaps somebody is looking to get into Seiko Tunas but does not want to spend seven hundred to nine hundred dollars to experience Tuna ownership
