Today I will be parting with my JLC Master Control Date ref Q1548420. Honestly, it doesn’t get the wear time it deserves and just doesn’t fit that well with my personal style. I love it, and it is amazing to look at but we must part ways. The watch is in immaculate condition, and probably with a light polish with a silver polishing cloth it would be right at home in a boutiques display case. The hands and dial are unblemished and the strap has had MAYBE 3-4 wears, only 2 of those being outside the house (embarrassing to say). This comes with the original box, papers, and hang tag. I am the second owner (purchased from a watch shop in NY) so I’m not 100% sure if that is EVERYTHING included in the initial purchase, but those with more knowledge can evaluate the photos and chime in if I’m incorrect. After a quick search it looks like the current valuation is between $4500-$5000 so I’ll split the difference and shoot for a sale price of ~~$4700 $4500~~ $4300 OBRO. As far as trades go I’m more interested in vintage Rolex pieces (Datejust, day-date, subs, and maybe some of the cooler oyster perpetuals), vintage Tudor subs, I’ve been looking at the omega seamster 300 heritage release (primarily the 2021 model as the dimensions are a bit more suitable to my tiny ass wrists) which I definitely wouldn’t mind considering. But overall I have an open mind and would love to hear what offers you have.
