[Timestamp](https://i.imgur.com/RG4qCsC.jpg) [Album](https://imgur.com/a/Xgh3t87) For sale today is a piece that I've not seen anywhere else - a 37mm Movado with the in-house 531 movement. Every other piece I've seen with this movement is a 33mm which wears quite a bit more vintage than this. The caseback is stamped with the Movado maker's mark. The rose gold accents and hands have a nice contrast against the light dial and the whole package gives a vintage look in a modern size. The watch was serviced two months ago and is doing +10spd with a power reserve of over 30 hours. That being said, there are some quirks: 1) Since the cal.531 is not terribly common my watchmaker and I were not able to locate a replacement clutch for the rotor. Because of this, the automatic winding does not provide a ton of power so handwinding is the main way to get power into the watch. NOS and used replacement clutches are now available on eBay. 2) The rotor is slightly deformed from previous neglect and brushes the inner edge of the movement. A replacement rotor could be used or it could be completely removed. 3) The nickel plating on the movement has started to deteriorate, it does not affect reliability but does not look awesome as seen in the photos. Working 33mm watches with this movement sell for between 400 and 1000 USD. I believe that this watch would fall in the 1000 range in perfect mechanical condition. You could wear it as-is for the next 10 years or put the final touches on it , I've just lost interest in the piece and want to put the funds towards something else. I'm asking **$400 USD plus 1/2 shipping worldwide**. Canada/USA shipping averages around $20 while elsewhere is between $25 and $50.
