Though the brand operated out of the United States, its watches were assembled in Switzerland, positioning Lew & Huey as a microbrand with global reach. Models like the Cerberus and Spectre offered automatic movements and distinctive styling at a price point that challenged the conventional hierarchy of Swiss-made watches.

Bold color choices and playful design cues set Lew & Huey apart from more conservative entry-level brands. The Orthos dive watch, for instance, combined vintage-inspired elements with modern proportions, while the Acionna and Riccardo introduced unexpected dial textures and vibrant accents. Across the lineup, the brand favored reliable Japanese Miyota movements, sapphire crystals, and well-finished cases—features rarely found together at this price.

Production was limited, and many models sold out quickly, fueling a secondary market among those who missed the original runs.
