For sale is this beautiful vintage Omega Constellation 168.018 in excellent condition. The watch was built in 1968 and features a Chronometer automatic cal. 564. This was a high-end piece back in its day with precise timekeeping. The stainless steel case measures 35 mm, 40 mm lug-to-lug, and 19 mm between lugs. The case has wear marks typical of a vintage piece with no major scratches or marks. The dial and hands are in great condition, with only a couple of small embellishments near 1 and 6 that I tried my best to capture in the photos. The crystal is in good shape but does have a few small, thin scratches. I tried my best to capture them in the photos, but they are pretty slight. The watch was serviced two years according to the previous owner, but did not have paperwork. The movement is super clean and keeps excellent time averaging about 3-5 seconds per day. This watch presents very well considering it’s almost 60 years old, and has been maintained and well-cared for. The only issue is the quickset date feature occasionally doesn’t want to engage. I’ll rotate the hands around 24+ hours and then the quickset will work properly. Minor annoyance, and overall it works when needed.
