This lovely reference was inspired by the original Radiomir California Rolex built for Panerai in the 1930s. A high polish 47mm cushion case encloses and displays the beautifully finished in-house p.3000 caliber movement, which offers a 72hr power reserve and a quick jump hour hand. It is a phenomenally well finished watch with a steeply domed sapphire crystal designed to mimic old school plexiglass with all of the benefits of a modern crystal. The gold hands and light beige lume combine to give it warmer tones which match the raw cut calf strap on the watch. This watch is offered as a full kit that was originally purchased from a US-based AD. All original parts are included. The original strap was swapped for the superior raw cut strap, which IMO is Panerai's best strap offering. The high polish watch case is in great overall condition but with some minor blemishes. There are a few pinhead sized marks on the bezel and case flanks, the case flank above the crown has a small scratch that can likely be polished out, and there are some minor marks from strap changes. It is keeping excellent time and all functions work as intended. I'd prefer a straight sale but I can consider trades.
