One tonight (potentially followed by a large-scale affordable clearance), a very impressive microbrand with Swiss guts: the Montoir NWMOD-01 V2 in the stark Polar White color way. More fun microbrand action! Montoir is a relatively new brand, originally blossoming from a successful Kickstarter campaign - and it seems they've found a good niche to sit in. There's nothing incredibly original about an affordable skin diver, but Montoir's simple design with some added flair of a flat chrome/black bezel and monochromatic dial really stand out to me. I always appreciate a fun splash of color with a strap - and the teal tropic rubber is such a winner with the otherwise grayscale design. Great finishing, high-contrast, and very comfortable - this is a winning design that I hope allows for this brand to sustain itself for more killer/affordable watches in the future.
