The Explorer II was developed in the 1970s for cave explorers. Featuring a fixed 24-hour bezel and coordinating red arrow GMT hand on the dial to allow cavers to distinguish between day and night hours. For most wearers , the GMT complication is best served to track a second time zone. This 2005 Explorer II is in superb all round unpolished condition with the case showing the factory cut chamfers and no scratches on the case or bracelet. The case back sticker is still present showing just how lightly this watch has been worn. Very unusual to find an Explorer II in this condition. Watch has received a full movement service and pressure test. Features a no holes case, solid end links and a bracelet fitting just over a 7.75" wrist.
