For sale today is my Epos Hebdomas 8 day. This is one of the cheapest 8 day wristwatches available on the market, and features a very unique movement designed in the early 1920s and manufactured in the early 2000s. To allow the massive 8 day power reserve, the mainspring barrel takes up almost the entire diameter of the movement and is mounted on top of the main plate on the movement side. With the mainspring barrel taking up most of the real estate, the escapement and balance was moved onto the dial side creating a very unique architecture and an early example of an open balance movement. Cosmetically the watch is in excellent condition with only light swirls throughout. Mechanically the watch runs well at full wind and keeps decent time. Service history unknown. The watch comes with its original wooden presentation box, cleaning cloth, and warranty card. The warranty card is dated 2004/08/25 I'm asking $1200 for this piece.
