The ref. 16220 was among the first five-digit offerings within the Datejust family, and importantly one of the first to also use a sapphire crystal. This example features a stainless steel "engine-turned" bezel and a blue roman numeral dial. This watch is the perfect blend if you're looking for a more sporty semi-vintage Datejust. This particular model, reference 16220, is in outstanding pre-owned shape, showing only slight signs of use. It underwent a mini service in January 2024 which included new gaskets ensuring water resistance, timing tests to run within COSC rating, along with a light polish to ensure the factory finishes are preserved.
