1970 Heuer Autavia Chronograph, Reference 1163 with the Caliber 12 Hand-Wind movement. This is the "pre-Viceroy" model, same generation. Watch is in amazing condition considering the age and the dial has a perfect warm faded gray patina. Comes as a watch only with the clamshell and box it was returned in following a full service from the Tag Heuer Vintage Shop in Switzerland. The service took 6 months as they sourced parts, completed in March of 2025, and cost over $1500. The case has NOT been refinished but the crystal was replaced. Keeps perfect time. Bracelet is not original, it is an aftermarket from Squinky, a new old stock 1970's beads of rice modified for the 1163 series and large enough for an 8" wrist. I have a significant investment in this one and they're very difficult to find in this condition with the proper service history. I'm asking $6500 but open to negotiation!
