The Bergstrom is truly an aviation inspired timepiece, with the stylish horizon dial at 6 o'clock (which is a rendering of the Artificial Horizon instrument). This is a hand-wound watch with a venerable NOS (New Old Stock) Unitas 6497 movement that was originally sourced from Switzerland from a now-defunct pocket watch company. The movement went through a full cleaning and re-oiling process and was carefully tested and regulated by the watch maker in Austin.
