Based in Schaffhausen, the brand built its name on producing precise and reliable timepieces for professionals—engineers, divers, aviators, and explorers. Among its most recognized lines is the Pilot’s Watch collection, first created in the 1930s and 1940s. These watches were made to meet the demands of aviation with strong legibility and resistance to magnetic fields. The Spitfire range, named after the iconic British fighter plane, pays tribute to that legacy with a distinct visual identity. The IWC Mark XVI Spitfire features a 39mm stainless steel case with a brushed finish. The silver rhodium-plated dial is fitted with luminous applied indices and propeller-shaped hands, offering clear timekeeping. Powered by the IWC caliber 30110, based on the ETA 2892A2, it provides a 42-hour power reserve. With a lug-to-lug length of 48mm (wearing closer to 51mm with bracelet) and water resistance up to 60 meters, the watch also features on its original straps and buckles making it suitable for everyday wear Watch is in excellent condition with only minor hairline scratches from very light wear. Crystal is flawless and clean. Watch comes on original IWC strap and buckle. The watch is recently serviced and keeping great time. Although watch doesn’t come with original box and papers, a standard watch box will be provided upon purchase.
