Up for sale is a rare and collectible Wakmann SEAHUNTER Skin Diver dating to ca.1968. This example is powered by a Wakmann-signed 17-jewel Jeambrun 26D manual wind movement.. The case, dial, and movement are all signed “France,” underscoring the authenticity and originality of this piece.

Key Details:​


- Case: 37mm stainless steel case, appears unpolished with sharp edges and clearly legible engraving. Lug width is 20mm. Signed Wakmann Watch Co.

- Dial: Beautiful original no-date dial with crisp, legible text. The lume is fully original and intact on the dial, with a classic lollipop seconds hand and broad arrow minute hand. The hour hand has some lume loss (visible in photos), but all lume has been professionally stabilized by my watchmaker to prevent further degradation.

- Bezel: Original bi-directional bezel rotates freely and retains lume in the triangle at 12 o’clock. No deep scratches, dings, or chips.

- Crystal: Polished and free of significant scratches or nicks.

- Movement: Fully overhauled and serviced in November 2023. Winds and sets smoothly, and keeps good time. (Note: I do not have a movement photo, as I lack the proper tool to open this specific caseback style.)

This watch is a exceptional example of this reference, with clean lines, beautiful patina and 100% original. A great addition to any vintage watch collection.
