The Black Bay 54 M7900N however, is not just inspired, it would better be described as a continuation of TUDOR’s first dive watch, the Oyster Prince Submariner 7922. At first glance, you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between the two.  A side-by-side comparison shows that it remains true to the original with the same 37mm case size, black no-date face with gilded details, black rotating bezel and even the rivets on the watch band. Look closer though and you will notice updates to the font type, hour hand (snowflake vs lollipop), brighter lume on the hands and indices, and a higher quality bracelet clasp which now includes micro adjustability.
