Hey all! Here is for sale a beautiful Omega Seamaster Professional 300M 2531.80. According to online info the 49 mil serial from the lug, it is from 1986 and here starts the fun. For sale is the watch, outer white cardboard box, inner grey box, instructions booklet and guarantee card. Case measures 41mm, lug to lug 47mm, 12mm thick and 20mm lug width. Case is great condition, it has been lightly polished by previous owner and has no major dings or scratches. Blue aluminum bezel is unidirectional, lume dot is still intact. Crystal is sapphire, has no blemishes. Caseback has wave texture, Seamaster logo and the case 49 mil serial number on the lug. On the inner side caseback has all the necessary logos and case number 168.1503. Screw down crown and helium escape valve have Omega logos, so according to online research it seems to be a second batch, as first one had no Omega logo on helium escape valve. Dial is blue and has wave texture, it has Omega logo, Seamaster ProfessionalChronometer 300m/1000ft and Swiss Made on the bottom. There’s date window at 3 o’clock. Lume on hourmarkers has a nice vintage patina. Under UV light lume on hourmarkers matches the lume on hands and dot on the bezel, please check lumeshot on Imgur gallery. Movement is automatic Omega caliber 1109 which is based on ETA 2892-A2, robust and decent workhorse, this one is self‑winding. At the moment of sale watch keeps time -2 sec/day, please check timegrapher pic on Imgur gallery. Bracelet is 20mm Omega 1503/825, fits approx. 19.5cm wrist, bracelet is still tight, had a light polish. Clasp has Omega Seamaster Professional logo and also a diving extension. Watch is in great condition. Watch is pretty rare, because it is considered to be from the second batch of 2531.80 because it has earlier 1109 movement, unbranded and specific shape end links, 168.1503 caseback, tritium lume with aged patina (even if it’s not mention T Swiss Made T at the bottom), earlier 1503.825 bracelet and the main thing – 49 million case number being transitional pre James Bond period.
