Offering for sale a vintage Omega Seamaster day date, ref 166.032. This watch has a couple of issues but is largely original and is a great opportunity to buy this reference at less than half the usual price.

Dial:
Factory original ‘concentric circles’ dial in average condition. There is some minor spotting and staining to the dial, more apparent at certain angles, as shown in the pictures. There is also some staining on the 12 o’clock marker and the lume is missing from the tips of the hands.
Still attractive overall with no loss of print and would make a good daily wearer.

Case:
Original 36mm stainless steel case in good condition. Being one of the only 60’ Seamasters that came in 36mm, these wear really well and are notably larger than the usual 34mm Seamasters. Has been lightly polished in the past but the edges and facets are still present, along with the radial brushing to the bezel.
Original Omega crown.
Omega crystal however it has a gold tension ring, whereas it should be silver. This can obviously be easily changed at service.

Movement:
I presume it’s an Omega cal 752 as is standard for this reference. However, I cannot get the back off with my caseback ball and I do not have a pronged caseback opener that I trust not to scratch the caseback.
All functions working as they should but service history is unknown.

Strap/bracelet:
Will come with new brown leather strap in pictures. I do have a 1098 bracelet that is correct for this reference, which can be negotiated separately if the buyer wants a bracelet.
