This is one of the nicest 1960s Seiko’s that I’ve seen; whoever owned this watch previously was super careful with it! The only obvious marks on the case are some small marks on the back from someone who was less than careful with their caseback removal tool (see photos).  The rest of the unpolished pillow-shaped case has only the kind of hairline surface scratches you would expect from a watch that will turn 60 years old in March this year. The brushed silver cross-hair dial is wonderful to look at up close and the raised chapter ring adds some beautiful depth. The quickset date is working perfectly, this movement unfortunately does not have the ability to quickset the day. The watch is keeping great time for its age losing about 25s per day. It is fit with a handmade Italian leather strap (Badalassi Carlo upper and Buttero lining) that I made myself. It will fit wrists 6”-7¼”. I am happy to make a new strap if you need a different length or would prefer a different look. My wrist is 6¼” as a reference point for the wristshots.
