Future classic, current winner, and one of my absolute favorite neo vintage Rolexes, the Air King reference 14000 with 3-6-9 Explorer dial in salmon! The earlier tritium versions all age a bit different over the years, with this one going a little more burnt orange - such a cool look! Very clean example down to the original case back sticker to rock! REF: 14000 YEAR: late 1996/early 1997 DIAL: Such a sweet color, more of a burnt orange meets copper depending on the light, then that sunburst finish pops and you get salmon in bright light. Classic 3-6-9 Explorer style with tritium markers that have gone a little creamy. A speck or two/patina seen under the loupe but presents near mint, a beautiful example. CASE: 34.5MM stainless case, being a Rolex oyster case it wears slightly larger, just shy of a standard 36MM Datejust (photographed on my 6.6 inch wrist.) About as clean as they come, only minor wear, as expected with age - lugs are thick with great brushing and sharp lines throughout. MOVEMENT: Rolex automatic running beautifully with service markings from 2 years ago and timegrapher showing well with COSC at 3 seconds per day with a healthy amplitude of 282. BRACELET: Comes on its original 78350 Rolex stainless oyster bracelet with 557B endlinks and original date stamped clasp. Bracelet is large, 13 links fitting over 7.5 inches, with wear throughout as expected but looks great including that nice and sharp crown stamping. ACCESSORIES: Watch on bracelet only.
