This is an iconic watch that was one of the first interesting things that started me collecting. I love having it, both for the look and the history. But I'm downsizing significantly and need to find a new home for this beauty. The Hamilton Ventura, first released in 1957, was the first electric watch. The bold, art deco (ish) design of the triangular case signal that clear departure from mechanically powered watches. But the iconic design has aged much better than cars with giant fins. It is still beautiful and appropriate today. This watch wears well as a dress watch and an upscale jeans and shirt watch. The Ventura has an interesting place in pop culture: Elvis wore his personal Ventura in his movie, Blue Hawaii, and Will Smith wore one in Men in Black. This watch has only been worn a few times and is in great shape as you can see in the photos (apologies for the finger print). Original strap with deployant clasp.
