[WTS] Speedy Pro 3861, GS SBGK005 LE, GS SBGW273 LE, Seiko SJE093
Selling a few gently worn pieces here. All purchased new by me with the exception of the SBGK005. This piece was purchased preowned here. All prices include UPS 2nd Day Air shipping. All pieces include full double boxes, documents, extra links, etc. Full kits on everything and packaging in great shape as well. Clearing out a few pieces I haven’t connected with. All excellent watches but don’t find wrist time relative to other watches. The Speedy Pro in particular was replaced by a 321 and I’d like to create a little bit of room for the new 42mm BP Fifty Fathoms. All pieces are in very good to excellent shape and have taken MANY photos. Any questions or additional images, just ask. Delugs case not included. Please send message instead of chat as I do not receive chat notifications. Only trades considered are a Glashutte SeaQ Blue/Gold 1-39-11-10-90-34 or GS SBGH205 +/- $ depending on which trade. Purchased on the factory bracelet and sized by AD but never used. You’ll still find the protective sticker on the inside and outside of the bracelet. I wore it almost exclusively on an Artem sailcloth (great strap) and only swapped back to the bracelet for photos to sell the piece. It has not been worn since my 321 was purchased last October. Grand Seiko SBGK005 LE - $6,000 Purchased from another member here last year and candidly worn 3-4 times since. I wore it once on the included factory strap with deployant that I’ll say is the one of the finest straps I’ve handled and this includes pieces at many multiples of this price. GS knows how to do a strap. Watch is in great condition and includes all original documents and box including rice paper, white over packaging, certificate, hang tag etc. Case shape on these, especially from a profile is stunning. Superb hand finishing with brushed flats and zaratsu bevels. Wears much thinner than the dimensions indicate and the balance of the dial works phenomenally in person. It’s a stunning piece but the dial is VERY difficult to capture in a photograph. Took quite a few different pictures but none accurately capture what’s on offer. The Mt. Iwate texture has always been my favorite from GS. Only selling because it clearly isn’t getting worn. I'm located in SWFL and would welcome a face to face should anyone prefer. Many images and time stamp shown here but am more than happy to provide any additional photographs or answer any questions. 39mm and much better pictures of the reference here: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/grand-seiko-sbgk005-review Grand Seiko SBGW273 LE - $5,000 A very limited run of 140x of these were made as a part of an LE run exclusive to the US market. This variant is called the Genbi Valley. A beautiful, honeydew green dial with heat blued second hand (difficult to photograph) and a great manual wind 9S64. At 37mm and 11.5mm thick it’s a svelte design. Was worn very sparingly by both me and my wife though I don’t believe it was ever worn on the factory strap. See photos where the factory strap and buckle are in mint condition. Typically worn on a natural / light brown ostrich strap from DE lugs but very versatile on many brown straps. A good read on this piece here: https://www.fratellowatches.com/grand-seiko-sbgw273-sbgw275-sbgw277-limited-edition-watch-release-usa-exclusive/#gref Seiko SJE093 LE - $3,600 This piece is part of the very recent and final batch of the limited 1963 of these made. It’s a really fantastic piece in a size really not available in many quality divers. Case shape, and boxed crystal give it that vintage feel but the dial, hands, and indices are well enough finished that it’s clearly a modern watch. Great lume, dial, crystal, and bezel (the lume pip even aligns!) Apologies for the dust on the crystal in the pictures. Dial is clean, just a few specs not wiped away for pics. Seiko really hit the 62MAS recreation on the head with this one. Have had it for several weeks and despite how many divers I’ve owned, they just never stick around. At the end of the day I prefer casual and dress watches but may one day find that perfect diver. Until then, someone take this one and enjoy it. A really special release from Seiko.
