WatchEx – Up for sale today is a Longines chronograph, reference L1.641.4.75.2 – watch only. This was produced in the 2000s (S/N in the 33 million range) and serviced most recently in 2021. Asking $1,250. The dial on this watch steals the show with a beautiful silver sunburst pattern that catches the light from any angle. The caliber L650.2 movement (based on ETA 2894) is running +4spd at the time of posting and all functions work perfectly. The chronograph pushers are crisp and the center chronograph hand snaps back to 12 o’clock without issue. I own a number of watches and it’s hard to explain, but you can \*feel\* the quality of this watch when winding and setting it. The watch measures 38mm across, 46.5mm lug-to-lug, 12mm thick, and has 20mm lug width – dimensions that will work well on a range of wrist sizes. The case is all stainless steel with a few small blemishes – the most notable is on the mid-case near the 10-o’clock index (visible near the top of the photo of the non-crown side). None of these blemishes are very noticeable when the watch is on the wrist, and the plexiglass crystal has no marks.
