The Zelos Swordfish is a family of automatic watches with a distinctly angular streak: assertive lugs, substantial hands, and, on the dive models, a broad rotating bezel. Its character survives changes in diameter, case material, and dial treatment, but “Swordfish” alone doesn’t tell you which generation—or even which kind of watch—you’re looking at.

The Swordfish 40mm and Swordfish 42mm are the main dive-watch branches, with the smaller version bringing the same visual vocabulary to a more compact footprint. Across releases, stainless steel, bronze, and titanium cases have given that architecture quite different personalities. Dial choices are another meaningful distinction: meteorite versions put natural crystalline texture beneath the hands, rather than relying only on color. Many dive versions use Seiko’s NH35, though the family name shouldn’t be treated as a movement specification.

The Swordfish Field takes a different route, exchanging the diver’s rotating bezel for a fixed surround and a field-watch layout. Within the dive branches, successive releases also revise dial furniture, bezel detailing, and proportions; the diameter is a useful starting distinction, not a complete description of the watch.
