Explore Tool Watch Co.
Tool Watch Co.’s Arctic Field took familiar field-watch proportions somewhere less expected: a meteorite dial inside a brushed titanium case shaped with a skin diver’s eye. The American brand, founded in 2020, made its debut with a watch that mixed practical specifications with unusual details—notably a seconds hand modeled after an Arctic hunting tool.
At 38mm, the Arctic Field is compact, with a sapphire crystal, 200 meters of water resistance, and an automatic Sellita SW200. The meteorite’s intersecting grain gives the dial texture without an applied decorative pattern. That contrast between a workmanlike case and an expressive dial continued in the titanium AMA Diver, whose mother-of-pearl faces brought a different kind of shimmer.
The subsequent Diver stripped things back: a cleaner dial, a titanium timing bezel with a brushed aluminum insert, and 300-meter water resistance. It retained the distinctive hands and H-link titanium bracelet, while a no-date Miyota 9039 handled the movement duties.
