The automatic 7S26 is part of the experience: straightforward and durable, but without hand-winding or hacking seconds. If either feature matters to you, distinguish an original example from one fitted with a replacement movement. Modifications are common across the SKX family, and the SKX013 has its own distinctive handset, including a luminous arrow-shaped tip on the seconds hand. For a factory-correct watch, pay particular attention to those hands and the dial; familiar-looking aftermarket parts can quietly change its character.

Common Criticisms

The 7S26 neither hand-winds nor hacks, so you can’t wind it through the crown or stop the seconds hand to set it precisely. Its accuracy can also be fairly variable from one example to another.
The factory Jubilee bracelet is comfortable, but owners often describe it as rattly and the clasp as flimsy. It’s one of the parts that feels noticeably less solid than the watch head.
