The Seiko Shogun gives you the broad shoulders of a serious diver without the weight you expect: its titanium case makes that muscular outline surprisingly easy to wear. Sharp case facets, pointed bezel teeth, and a purposeful handset give it a character quite separate from Seiko’s softer-edged Turtle and Sumo.

For the original black-dial design, look to SBDC007 or its later Prospex successor, SBDC029, both powered by the 6R15. The newer SPB189 and white-dial SPB191 bring sapphire crystal and the longer-running 6R35; choose these if those practical upgrades matter more than the earlier design. On a bracelet-equipped example, establish whether the bracelet is the original titanium one: substituting steel changes the light, balanced feel that makes the Shogun such a distinctive Seiko diver.
