Aikon

The Maurice Lacroix Aikon gets much of its character from six polished arms across the bezel, set against a sharply brushed case and bracelet. It’s a sporty, integrated-bracelet watch with enough surface detail to reward a second look, especially in the textured dial of the Aikon Automatic.

The design traces back to Maurice Lacroix’s Calypso of the 1990s, but the Aikon arrived in 2016 with quartz movements; the automatic range followed in 2018. Those are meaningfully different buying paths: the Aikon Quartz offers straightforward convenience, while the automatic brings a mechanical movement and a more elaborate dial. For the familiar three-hand automatic, try both the 39mm and 42mm versions if possible—the broad case and bracelet junction make diameter only part of the fit.

Many Aikons use Maurice Lacroix’s Easy Change attachment system. If swapping between bracelet and strap matters to you, confirm compatibility with the particular reference: an ordinary straight-ended strap isn’t a direct substitute.
