Founded in Sweden in 2018, the brand draws on familiar watchmaking forms without making every collection look like a variation on the same design.

The Hudson is its dive-watch anchor, pairing a rotating bezel and clear dial layout with compact proportions. There’s a restrained, mid-century quality to it, particularly in the balance between the hour markers and hands. It’s the more conventional side of MAEN, but the attention to scale gives it a character of its own.

The Manhattan 37 takes a different route: an angular case, integrated bracelet, and a dial patterned with vertical stripes. Its broad bezel frames that texture rather than competing with it. The contrast between brushed surfaces and polished edges gives the watch definition, while the compact case keeps the architectural shape from becoming overbearing.
