Direnzo treats the dial as a landscape rather than a flat surface. Curves, recessed centers, and carefully placed color give its watches a recognizable depth, with hands and markers arranged to make that sculpting legible. Founded in Switzerland in 2016, the independent brand takes a distinctly modern route: these are mechanical watches with a taste for industrial design, not exercises in recreating a particular decade.

The DRZ 02 makes that approach especially clear. Its dial drops toward the center, while the surrounding geometry gives the watch an almost architectural character. The DRZ 03 Eclipse carries the family resemblance into a dive watch, adding a rotating bezel without letting the familiar dive-watch template overwhelm the dial’s personality.

With the DRZ 04 Mondial, the bracelet becomes part of the composition. Its integrated design extends the case’s lines around the wrist, while the sculpted dial keeps the focus where Direnzo usually puts it: on the interplay between shape, light, and color.
