Addiesdive speaks a familiar dive-watch language: broad luminous markers, rotating bezels, and hands designed to be read at a glance. The Chinese brand, founded in 2019, has made that vocabulary central to its identity, often pairing it with a conspicuous diving-mask logo. Its watches borrow recognizable shapes from established sports-watch designs, but the catalogue also has room for quieter cases and unexpectedly expressive dials.

The automatic divers are the natural starting point. Many use Seiko’s NH35, a straightforward mechanical movement with hand-winding and hacking seconds. Screw-down crowns and generously lumed hands reinforce the practical emphasis; these are watches whose character comes from familiar proportions and the details you notice on the wrist.

Then there is the AD2030, which takes a different route. Its roughly 36mm case surrounds a textured dial resembling wind-rippled sand, available in several colors. Inside, the quartz VH31 gives the seconds hand a four-tick-per-second motion—a fittingly understated choice for a watch that puts its dial first.
