Up for sale is a Like-New-In-Box Seiko SBCJ031 titanium GMT Alpinist with the numeral cream dial. This is the second of two SBCJ031 I'm posting for sale as I look to pare down my collection. These titanium GMT Alpinists from the 2000's are among my most cherished watches, and this one in pristine condition is one of the crown jewels. This watch has never been worn and the watch case shows no marks at all. It comes with the original hang tag, warranty card, and instructional manual; all in the original box. You're very unlikely to see another one of these watches in this LNIB condition. Everything on it works like new, and the battery was changed within the last few years. The only thing that is not in new condition is the leather strap. The original unworn strap for this watch was removed by Japanese customs control because they deemed it to be made of exotic leather (it's not). So I replaced it with the strap from my other SBCJ031 which had been worn. This is a long discontinued model that is powered by the 8F56 high end quartz movement (spec'ed to within 20 sec/yr). This gem of a movement features perpetual calendar, a 10-year battery change interval, a true GMT hand, and an hour hand that can be adjusted in 1 hour increments (very useful for travelling or DST changes).
