CLASSIC stainless steel front load "Unishell" Seamaster with Hippocampus back, from the first year of production, 1960.

Distinctive original uncommon embossed CLAM SHELL pattern dial in brushed silver with applied tapered multi-faceted markers and Arabic numerals, Omega symbol and script. Far from perfect, but when is the last time you saw one?

Sharp stainless steel case showing typical signs of use, with signed crown and signed crystal.

Caliber 570 TWO (2) adjustment automatic movement, serial number dates this to 1960. Winds, sets and runs OK and is keeping reasonable time, but service history unknown (recommended).

34.1-mm not including the signed crown x 39.5-mm lug tip to lug tip.
