Another beautiful watch from my too-large collection! This minty Certina was their first reissue to honor the vintage Ph1000. IMO, they got the proportions better on this one (vs. the recent re-edition), but the hands don't do it for me. I've seen folks put Ph1000-style hands on this watch and it works well. That was my plan, but here we are over a decade later and I've barely worn it - one of my vintage Certinas wins every time.

The watch and bracelet are very well made and the various finishes suit the watch very well. I've rarely seen a watch and bracelet so well-integrated or so solid. The trademark Certina turtle back is gorgeous! I haven't timed it, but when I took it out of the box for photos it started running right away. A couple of light marks on the clasp, but I can't see any marks on the watch head. It looks showroom new!

Included are the original box and papers, as you can see in the photos. The fitted rubber strap comes with a 2nd set of springbars and had never been cut or worn. Two extra bracelet links also included.
