Jacques Mayol was a French diver and the holder of many world records in free diving. Off the coast of Elba, Italy in 1981, Jacques Mayol took the sport of freediving to a new level at the age of 54. Accompanied by his OMEGA Seamaster, Mayol dived to a record-breaking depth of 101 metres on a single breath of air.
