There were a lot of American classics in that collection, including a few from Roland's own company, RGM, An American Independent where Roland shows his true artisanship as a master watchmaker with beautifully decorated watches with an American aesthetic.  One of the RGM's he revealed, was something special. How the story goes, as explained in the video, Roland wanted to give a watch to his father to celebrate the launch of his first production watches of RGM. He did not want to give away the actual first production watches since he needed the profits to keep the company afloat. He instead got an old Hamilton watch case and created an RGM Dial, Hands, and movement for the watch. Now which Hamilton watch did he end up using? That's right, the Hamilton 9946. It was important for Roland to use a Hamilton since that's where he started in his career as a watchmaker. One other unique part of this watch, it was completely assembled in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Further connecting to RGM since they're also based in Lancaster. Of Course, that one-of-one masterpiece will never go on the market...
